Brace yourselves folks, brace yourselves. Tomorrow the NFL will be showing two different games, one will be a battle of the defenses, and the other shall be a battle within the division. Both teams are bitter rivals, and thankfully the two games don't occur at the same time. Tomorrow the NFL's only undefeated teams will face off at 4:15 ET, and the Dallas Cowboys will visit the Philadelphia Eagles at 8:15 ET.





For those of you who think the New England Patriots will crush the Indianapolis Colts tomorrow afternoon, don't jump the gun. Indianapolis has slowly crawled to 7-0 and plays at home. The last time the Patriots faced their rivals, they lost a trip to the Superbowl. The Colts have a shot because they are the underdogs, have the home field advantage, and haven't had much drama surrounding the team this season. Spygate, a baby out of wedlock, and a new interesting slew of wide receivers have haunted the press early on up in the Boston area. My money's on Indy, but in reality, the Patriots will probably win.





The Dallas Cowboys visit their archenemies, the Philadelphia Eagles tomorrow night. Philly hasn't been consistent this season, but always plays Dallas hard. If the Eagles wish to win, they need to complete the following checklist: 1. Drastically improve the Red-Zone Offense 2. Stop committing dumb penalties, and 3. THE DEFENSE CANNOT CHOKE! The return of WeaponX-Brian Dawkins, and the two duos: Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown, and Jevon Kearse and Trent Cole are definite boosters both mentally and physically for the defense. Dallas, visiting a crowd that will be booing them before they enter the stadium cannot let themselves down. I'm pulling for Philly, but unfortunately Dallas has been on a roll this season. Tomorrow will be a battle of the Dallas offense, with the charming former Eagles Terrell Owens who will most likely be welcomed back home to a crowd of jersey burning, fans screaming their bloody lungs out. Did I mention the screams will probably be full of four and five letter words other than 'boat' and 'ducky'? Some death threats will also be escaping the mouths of the former T.O. fanatics.





As for the other games, I predict the following:

50% will win, the others will lose.




Just Kidding! Here are my wins/losses for the week:


49's at the Falcons: the defenses are almost statistically identical, but the offenses are miles apart. Atlanta escapes with a victory.


Bengals at Bills: Bengals offense rolls over the Bills defense easily to a win.


Broncos at Lions: The Lions have to take advantage of Denver's awful rush defense if they want to win. Detroit should win, as they are 7th in the league with rushing yards/game. I think this week the Broncos will win, they need to to stay alive this season.

Packers at Chiefs: I hope the Packers win easily, because they have every reason to, despite the dreadful running game.

Chargers at Vikings: The Charges had an emotionally game last week, and are on a huge winning streak. After the Minnesota lost last week, I think people realized their season if relatively over. LT will lead the Chargers straight over the Vikings.

Jaguars at Saints: The Jaguars are doing well this season, but the Saints have a three game winning streak. I pick the Jaguars, women's intuition?

Redskins at Jets: After being embarrassed by the Patriots last Sunday, the Redskins should be able to bounce back with a win over the struggling Jets.

Panthers at Titans: Two teams with similar records, but the rosters are polar opposites. The only reason the Titans can win, as because their defense is ranked fifth rather then the 21st ranked defense of the Carolina Panthers, Titans should win in an ugly game.

Cardinals at Buccaneers: Jeff Garcia has played well this season, and I suspect that he will lead the Buccs to a slight win over the struggling Arizona Cardinals.

Seahawks at Browns: Two teams with the same record, and nothing exciting about either. Seattle is a more rounded team, and for that I choose the 'Hawks.

Houston at Oakland: Who cares? the AFC Superbowl will be on! Uhhhhh, Houston barely gets by over Oakland.

Cowboys at Eagles: Once again, see prior post.

Ravens at Steelers: The Steelers have been great offensively, but I think their defense will step it up against the Ravens. Steelers win it on MNF.

~I highly doubt the majority of my picks will win, but barring injuries, muffed calls, etc. I think they're pretty good.~
